Agreed Kirsti. They have NFI, but tbh we’re not part of ACON agenda. Of course non-binary people exist & should live full lives, but policy shouldn’t be there for them at exclusion of Trans Women. My problem is I’m seen as cisgender when I play sport so am excluded.

And it affects us as Transitioned athletes get caught up in confusion. Luckily I paid my dues & am a woman & seen as one & therefore I have no problems.

Beat Glenda Lee 25-7 on my way to becoming region champion. Yet she got picked and I didn’t!

How badly Nepean Highlanders did at Inter-Region champs. I’m not saying they would’ve won had I been there, but just saying I know they would’ve done better if I played. Some jealous people, ie, the ones with an axe to grind because of my success, think I’m cocky and up myself, but I think they’re bigoted Transphobes & jealous of my success. Anyone who knows me, knows my confidence is a quiet one of my own ability where I believe in myself and will keep working hard towards more success, which I know will follow as a result of the meticulous preparation I put in!

2/2 Despite my success I was overlooked & a player I beat 25-7 was picked. She’s a good player (singles runner-up 2023-24) but I smacked her & wasn’t afforded same opportunity. I know what I could’ve done given same opportunity, but am glad they can’t take my singles title off me!

1/2 I won Nepean Highlanders open singles women’s title 08/2024. Despite playing well at NSW Champs 04/25 & winning 6 matches representing Nepean 2022-24 I couldn’t make current rep team which came last inter-region champs. Obviously I wasn’t cis enough to make team!!

Thx Kirsti 100%. The powers that be tried to erase my career, not succeeding, but they did minimise it after finding out. In their eyes being Trans means you “don’t deserve any human rights as you brought it all on yourself.”

Here in Australia things are good, although we have bigots too. At the moment they’re kept in check under current government, but with election looming, our big hope is Dutton doesn’t get in. Aussies hate Trump, so hoping we follow Canada’s lead at the polling booths & Albo’s returned to power.

Yes. It was one step forward & Trans issues were out in the open & then all the wowsers came at us, as Trans issues were largely hidden before then.

We’re now in two step backwards phase.

We have to survive the far right’s push for power before human rights return & our lives get better again.
