Being a gloaty vindictive person is an awful thing to be.

I didn't realise I was a vindictive gloating kind of person until not-a-prince Andrew and Mandelson got arrested.
I have my popcorn ready for when Halfords enters the chat.
What’s the word for when you can take something off your to-do list that was never on it in the first place because a total of zero people worldwide even thought of asking you to do it?
Omg please can we set this up
For anyone interested:
(A reply more to what you quote than what you add here)
Yeah they do this I’m afraid. There are AI set ups that ‘humanise’ AI writing by introducing mistakes…they are no more deliberate than anything else (and I’m not going to argue ‘deliberate?’ with a philosopher but it can’t = ‘human’ mistakes or the whole set is rigged.
And that Dean was Albert Einst- sorry, wrong meme.
I just wish someone would be honest and say “we are ending civilian science in favor of science that is focused on serving national security and war”
Hard to imagine that most doctors won’t just say ‘get the jabs’ so the administration gets the credit if illness is kept low, but if people don’t, they’ll blame the doctors. Being right wing somehow always seems to be about how blame is handled instead of responsibility:(
My other edited collection a few years earlier arrived on Easter Thursday with 5 days’ turnaround so there seems to be a pattern here… I will not be editing books in the future!
I got proofs of a book I was editing with 50 co-authors on 24 Dec at 4pm asking for a turnaround within 9 days… it didn’t happen.

My wife and I agree it’s just insanely good telly and we are not sure about watching the next series because of this, which is the weirdest place to be in.
An MIT lab director was killed in a shooting at his home in Brookline, Massachusetts Monday night, the school confirmed.
No one is in custody, Brookline police deputy superintendent said.
DON, YOU LOST LAURENCE FOX????
Every now and then I read trumps statements with a fresh eye by accident - it always makes the crazy meter break as it goes into red with such velocity. People support this guy instead of pouring drinks over his head. It’s so painful. And I’m watching from U.K., I don’t see most of it. Solidarity.
This year is beginning to seem endless.
I hope he’d find it funny if I said he went to eleven and won this round.
Even in the UK, we knew he was a goodun.
It's going to be 'first they came for the trans people, then they came for the immigrants..' (45 lines later) 'then he came for Rob Reiner, and I wasn't having that'...
Trump supporters now torn between loving Spinal Tap as teenagers and what the Orange said...
'So what finally turned you against Trump? Was it the violent deportations?'
<erm> (embarrassed squirming for 0.7 seconds> 'I had just been saying how much I loved Spinal Tap to a friend, when...'
I suspect it's also much simpler, that they liked Spinal Tap and thought of it as 'theirs'
