Clay’s Ark was my favorite but definitely the most disturbing, worth checking content warnings! I think I started with Patternmaster first :) if you read any, hope you enjoy!

for specfic, I really enjoyed Lost Ark Dreaming by Suyi Davies Okungbowa!! it’s quick and plotty climate fiction inspired by mythology

oooo for sci-fi I HIGHLY recommend Octavia Butler’s Patternist series! they’re all standalones & can be read in any order. each does a great job of incorporating bits of other genres (Clay’s Ark for horror/thriller, Patternmaster for coming of age/romance, etc)

agreed, gyuhao would never make it to “for good” because Mingyu would’ve jumped on the broom with Minghao in an instant. maybe soonwoo? boochan?!
