Great performances! Fun to think about his potential. But even with such great potential, realizing it is a whole different thing. The greater the potential, the higher the risk. Heβll need a solid team around him to help him navigate the journey.
Some strikingly similar arguments between the "how to save the NBA" and "how to save track and field".
What track & field social accounts fit this criteria:
-Reasoned perspective on issues.
-Goal to break news or inform fans.
-Unafraid to be unpopular. (But not deliberately unpopular just for attention.)
-Spreads facts, not known untruths.
-Covers sprints & hurdles as much as distance.

True! I hike 2-3 days a week. Just me and a friend (my dog Angelo).
Race pattern. Difficult discovering best personal race pattern. Itβs not one size fits all. Next is difficulty in duplicating that race pattern consistently. Last is learning how to make the right decisions in the race, balancing stick to my plan vs adjust to the race around me.
Potentially a big development in the race to host the 2036 Olympic and Paralympic Games with South Africa holding talks today with the IOC in Lausanne. An African country has never hosted the Games. It is widely expected that if they do bid, then Cape Town would be the city they put forward.
US women: βWeβll take our chances with four women. At least weβll get the baton around.β
When Mixed 4x4 was announced I hated it. Now I love it. So Iβll wait to see how this goes. Exchange zone gonna be exciting or an absolute shit show!
Sprints: 1 hour
Hurdles: 1 hour
Distance: 8 hours (and counting)

Some serious talent! Will be interesting to see which of them can achieve consistency. Thats typically the biggest issue for young 400 talent.
Isaac Makwala started it!
And the older you get, the less sprinting you should do. At a point the risks far outweigh the benefits. As Iβve gotten older Iβve continued to go slower and longer. Now I only hike.
Interesting! π€¨
Thatβs exactly what @kylemerber.bsky.social saw! Excited to have her as a Racer.

100% agree. My only criticism is it felt a bit disjointed vs season 1. I donβt think people appreciate the difficulty of making a retrospective docuseries like this. Still think most (avid and casual fans) found it entertaining. Big question is will there be a 3rd season?
Really tough choice between Tara and Gabby for me.
If this is going to work we probably have to started replying instead of just liking. One thing that made Threads slow down significantly after a great start is it was boring. Iβll try to do better.
Since the Paris Olympics weβve announced over 35 Olympic medalists and finalists as @grandslamtrack.bsky.social Racers. Last week we announced Kingston, Miami, Philly, and LA as our host cities. I couldnβt be prouder of our progress. Thanks to all the fans who continue to support us! More to come!
