Oldham Mountain Rescue Team was formed in 1964 and is just one of 60 volunteer Mountain & Cave Rescue Teams providing a search and rescue services. Prepared to help people in difficulties in the wild and remote places of England and Wales.
As the final hours of 2025 draw to a close. The team would like to thank everyone who has supported us this year. From the incredible folks who have fund raised and donated to the team; to our family members who have showed understanding & support when family time was missed due to call-outs.

Ace was injured during training. He stood on a broken glass bottle.

The team would like to say thanks to Donaldson's Vets for the fantastic treatment Search Dog Ace received, following an injury he sustained whilst training in the snow last Thursday night.
He’s is now on the mend thanks to the vets awesome team. We couldn’t do what we do without them. 💕🐾
