Celebrating women this #IWD starts with acting against structural inequality. These stats give a glimpse into what women in UK theatre face daily - and don’t scratch the surface when it comes to the experiences of disabled, trans, queer, Global Majority or working class women #InternationalWomensDay

First of my festival shows this evening was a preview of this, and it gets a hearty both thumbs up from me. Recommended.

Edinburgh now has another excellent walking tour about the history of its women - alongside Ruth Boreham's tour which has been going for a while. I had such a nice afternoon - highly recommend!

We were thrilled to have author @sarasheridan.bsky.social join us for MONUMENTAL on Saturday! Her book “Where Are the Women?” imagines a different Scotland where women are commemorated in statues and streets and buildings - and was hugely inspirational for our walking tour.
