Another park, another sketch! Itโs amazing to see trees laden with fruit at the end of October for me. There was another tree in the background but I wasnโt sure how to draw it as a shadowy tree behind the persimmon without muddying the contrasts. Iโm working on improving my values :)

It used to be the other way around where red represented men so pink represented boys who had not yet grown into men. Blue was considered a more gentle color and was associated with girls for many years. If you go back far enough tho, most babies wore white. www.britannica.com/story/has-pi...

An ink strawberry. There is a mix of blue and yellow undertones adding a nice juicy effect to the strawberry and there are white highlights made with gel pen and some white colored pencil.
A little strawberry doodle playing with some inks today. The paper was more dry than I thought and a few of the spots turned out a but larger than expected lol. Iโm in love with the color of these inks tho!๐๐๐

Panorama of a group of mushrooms, real and otherwise, with a snail crawling along in the middle. All is monotone grey, black, and white.
This was one of the first pieces I banged out in my current style. It took only four hours to get all the lines down then, through a happy accident, I found out my ink was water soluble and my new favorite shading method was created! Click for the full panorama :)
