Bournville of today is very far away from the original connected, active community it was designed as. The facilities & amenities are divided or interrupted by people driving through, these people get the benefits of the space instead of the residents & visitors being able to use the space to live.
Restrictions on sales and use if fireworks is important for many reasons, they're another unnecessary burden on communities and people's health and well-being in terms of noise and air pollution, we are in a health crisis so anything that assists prevention is welcome, thanks for raising.
Mine too, mostly I've submitted photos of people parked blocking the pavement, still a lot to do though towards truly safe attitudes & behaviour, including amongst the police, I spoke to two officers at the weekend as the driver had parked their police van on the pedestrian crossing white zig zags 😒
