‘Blue’s Clues & You’ returns to Nick Jr. starting Monday from 12-1pm.
Cartoon Network is bringing back ACME Fools on Wednesday, April 1st for with airings of ‘Looney Tunes’, ‘Duck Dodgers’, ‘Looney Tunes Show’, ‘Bugs Bunny Builders’, & ‘Tiny Toons Looniversity’. Over on DFC, a ‘The Smurfs’ marathon airs from 6a-5p that day.
Season 9 of ‘Oggy & The Cockroaches’ has been announced by Xilam Animation and ordered by France Television. The series will return to its original art style.
‘Ted’ has concluded after two seasons at Peacock as Seth McFarland has no plans to bring it back for another season due to the rise of costs. The animated series is set to premiere on Peacock later this year.
The new ‘Garfield’ series produced by Nickelodeon is called ‘Garfield+’ & produced by John Trabbic III & Dave H Johnson from ‘Middlemost Post’. The series stars Larmone Morris as the voice of Garfield! The series will premiere on Paramount+.
New information about the Paramount-WB merger operations:
-Both studio lots to remain intact, however some of the space at Paramount’s will be sold for more residential and office space. This is to clear some debt.
-CNN will remain the same + more investments towards streaming
After 14 years of being on the channel (counting its days as The Hub), Littlest Pet Shop is airing for the last time on Discovery Family on Friday, March 20, 2026. Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? is replacing the series on weekdays afterwards.
The way ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ airing on Cartoon Network Korea may have just summoned what could be a reality for a bunch of other Cartoon Network feeds with the acquisition of Warner from Paramount Skydance.
BREAKING: Paramount is projected to win the Warner Bros Discovery acquisition as Netflix declined to raise their bid essentially dropping out of the race.
Paramount & Warner Bros would essentially create one large mega company powered by Warner Bros Pics and Paramount Pics and managed by Skydance.
Would also mention that Sycamore Studios is working very close with the ‘Madeline’ creator, Ludwig Bemelmans’ family to ensure it stays in its true form. Sycamore is a new studio catered towards kids & families founded in 2022 by award winning film makers Timothy Reckart & Christian McGuigan.
This will be the first new ‘Madeline’ project since the 2000s with the DiC/WildBrain produced ‘Madeline’ series which started off in 1988 as a special for HBO and then recieved a tv show in 1993-2001 for Disney. Later on, a few direct to home video films aired in the early 2000s.
Sycamore Studios has acquired the rights to the children’s book series ‘Madeline’. The first project is set to be an animated musical feature film with a future expansion into to a tv series, merchandise, and future films.

Nicktoons UK will rebrand into NickAlvinnn!!! for the 1st time starting in March. Previously Nicktoons would just air 24/7 ‘Alvinnn!!! & The Chipmunks’ on Nicktoons but this is the first time actually making it into an Alvinnn pop-up channel.
24 new episodes of ‘Reading Rainbow’ with Mychal the Librarian as host, have been ordered by Sony Pictures TV. SPT will take over distribution rights and will shop episodes to streaming or a cable network. Shorter episodes will remain airing on YouTube. deadline.com/2026/02/read...
Season 2 of ‘Wonder Pets in the City’ premieres March 20th on Apple TV.
As this week approaches, this should be a very interesting one for Warner Bros and whether Paramount will offer a higher bid or just stick with Netflix. There’s also much more interference with the government now so it’s no telling who will get it. I’ll be covering any big updates on both accounts.

‘Erin & Aaron’ premieres almost exactly three years later on Nickelodeon UK and likely other international regions from its April 2023 premiere on Nickelodeon.
The show’s rights were sold to Netflix internationally and I guess they had an exclusivity window. Netflix US also streams the show.
‘Static Shock’ has been airing on the Pam Grier’s Soul Flix FAST channel. This network is owned by Free TV Networks (now a Versant subsidiary) which airs a selection of programming mostly from Warner Bros. & Lionsgate’s libraries.
Basically If ‘SpongeBob’ gets an airing on Nickelodeon expect to see another show on Nicktoons. If a movie airs during the slot expect to see a ‘SpongeBob’ airing on Nicktoons. Gotta continue to make it ‘SpongeBob, All Day Every Day ya know! 😆
A few months ago the Universal Kids naming returned as a renaming of the Peacock Kids YouTube Channel while Peacock Jr became Universal Jr. A lot of full episodes and clips of Peacock’s remaining shows have been uploaded there. While other videos are Dreamworks & Illumination content.
Peacock has removed a lot of their Sprout/Universal Kids programming in recent months as well. Most of the kids tv content left is the few Peacock originals like the short lived CGI ‘Caillou’ revival series & cheap short form series from YouTube.
Peacock’s acquired Nelvana and Discovery Kids Latin America shows ‘Agent Binky’, ‘Dog & Pony’, & ‘Super Wish’ have recently been streaming on Tubi. Peacock removed them a little while back as Peacock has give up on new kids television content.
I don’t think much will really change right now. I think Warner Bros really sees something with Netflix and vice versa. If the shareholders vote for Paramount and/or Netflix can’t prove to be a viable option then I could see it on Paramount. Or Warner Bros might just abandon the sale and move on
