I love this movie so much, I have Bandage Man tattooed on my arm.
Adore Timecrimes and 12 Monkeys, wasn’t a fan of Looper.
The best time travel FILM ever made.
Well, I was back in the day. Haven't seen it in over a decade or more. Your rating is probably spot on.
Your star rating appears to be missing an extra * or two.
I forgot all about this one. I actually saw it on USA around the time it was released. Would love to catch up with it again.
Probably the third or fourth best season of the series on the whole. Wildly entertaining and satisfying bar a few minor missteps.
Good movie. If you like Event Horizon, I'd suggest seeking out Dark Side of the Moon (1990), which has about a tenth of the budget but almost the exact same plot. I saw it at 2 AM on Showtime back in the day and it bothered me. YMMV.
"I hit a casket with a puppet stage. What am I doing here?"
He has a point.
They look like the Geico cavemen!
It’s high on my list of (paid) commentary wants, too!
Happy to toss some recs your way within 87-96; there are a ton of straight-to-cable variations. Not sure if you're staying mostly mainstream/theatrical or not.
Absolutely criminal this hasn’t gotten a movie adaptation!
Anyone you can snag is always welcome!
I have four and they keep their litter area obliterated and me consistently shoveling. Eight? Yikes!
Some I STILL KNOW vibes with the rain.
The sound of Nathan's fury, signifying nothing.
I get sleep paralysis on average three nights a week. We're old friends now.
Fantastic header!
I used to have that HELL NIGHT art in one-sheet form, except it was for DEMONOID: MESSENGER OF DEATH. Gotta love early 80s promotional recycling.
Is this your first time using Substack? I want to do something with 80s/90s action movies but another podcast/video series is too time consuming.
