A close up of common rabbit brush. A fine fur like appearance.

A once ugly building in Pagosa Springs. All four sides are painted by the artist with different scenes but this side is my favorite!π€©

House #3, Providence, Rhode Island, 1976 - Francesca Woodman (1958-1981), photographe américaine. La majorité de ses tirages met en scène son corps, partiellement nu, dans des environnements énigmatiques, souvent des lieux inhabités, au point qu'elle prend l'apparence d'un fantôme.

I appreciate that!
I will look into this! Thanks for the idea!
Thatβs awesome! Are you helping with English or using your English to help navigate the process? I would love to help someone who needs help.π

I really enjoy walking along the trails in the woods around the hills next to Barcelona. #blackandwhitephotography #photography #barcelonab&w
This photo has a beautiful timeless atmosphere!
A clear glass sphere rests centered on a quiet railway track, aligned precisely along the rail. Inside the sphere, bare tree branches and a pale blue morning sky are reflected upside down, creating a sharp contrast to the softly blurred surroundings. The metal rails run straight into the distance, flanked by muted autumn tones and an out-of-focus woodland landscape, emphasizing depth, symmetry, and stillness.
Freedom.

I bet a person could outline the old borders. I never thought about drawing a line to show the transition before until now. I like to think about how each town got its name. The Spanish names are more descriptive and somewhat more predictable.
Itβs interesting to look closely at maps of the Southwest and western parts of the United States and notice how the towns and counties predominantly have Spanish names then it changes. I wonder if someone could draw a definitive line connecting the Spanish named towns where they change language? π€
A colorful autumn picture from the mountains in Colorado. The peaks are orange from the iron bearing minerals. There are yellow aspen leaves mixed with the dark greens of the spruce and fir trees . Old mining muck piles are visible, adding light tans. A cloudy sky with dark blue in places.
The view as I made one of my many trips over Red Mountain pass in #Colorado
I donβt count days of war anymore.
I count moments of life,
Of calm joy and happiness
Theyβre harder to destroy.

An image of an ancient tree, dark and twisted, partly broken but still living in a far flung corner of the forest.
It wasnβt an escape. It was heading off to those darkest corners and showing how real they were.
