reasons. I don't use the term blackmail lightly. While the original depiction of Leon's "recruitment," as seen in one of RE3's epilogues, only has some implications of threat, its depiction in the Darkside Chronicles, and Leon's attitude towards his role in RE4 Remake, paint a much bleaker picture.
