Like, the number of lives saved by controlling air pollution in America is probably over 200,000 per year, but the number of people who think their life was saved by controlling air pollution is zero.
Equity Arc, which trains young musicians of color, was set to play with the US Marine Band — until Trump's anti-DEI order canceled the show.

Black musicians, composers, music scholars predated the Renaissance and, not surprisingly, existed outside of the Western world. Let’s stop pretending composition, musicology, and music theory only existed in Europe.
