Monsters in the underground are paranoid about their inevitable doom. There is no time for entertainment, so mettaton decided to repurpose himself into a human-killing machine with new neo form, that would actually survive all the damage, that the human would do

One time I was doing some resprites for The Binding of Isaac and I found out for myself that the fastest way to get a nice, organic sprite going on is to first make scaled up version of image and then scale it down. A bit cheap, but I like it
