Had to get the sequel as well! #ps4
Had to get the sequel as well! #ps4
I was surprised too, but its definitely the smart play to build a larger player base with Switch 2.
It was another big PS4 day. Got some bangers while I was out and about, and my latest VGP order came in.
I got this from Amazon Japan the other day, before FRLG were announced for Switch. This 4 CD set contains both the soundtrack for RGB and FRLG. Really excited for PokΓ©mon Day on Friday!
@tokyogamelife.bsky.social I seriously hope one day you and The Kiseki Nut do a trails episode for the podcast. Such a gem of a series!
Finally! The Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure reprints arrived today. I now own all available localized Trails Games. I can't wait until Sky 2nd chapter comes out later this year!
Bring back the weekend announcements!!!
The last pick PS4 picks up from January and the first PS4 pickups from February
Switch is now the best selling console of all time! (Because we all know Jim Ryan made some shit up!)
The PS4 is truly becoming my designated action adventure/action RPG console. I just can't stop buying games for it. πππ

More PS4+Switch pickups, plus a copy of Metroid Prime 4 that I won in a giveaway from VGP!
I wish the play times on these were more accurate, as I know I played both Trails in the Sky and Ys VIII more than 60 hours.
Unsurprisingly lots of rpgs for me. Will probably be more of the same in 2026
Dude, it's incredible. The most I spent for a game so far was β©20,000. Which is roughly Β₯2,000; and that was for Ghost Of Tsushima Directors cut, and it was sealed. Everything else has been between 5-15. With a few as low as 3.
I actually have to slowdown because I've bought 30 games in 2 weeks lol
The PS4 pickups train isn't stopping anytime soon. Also, some PS Vita games that I've been eying for a while.
Another RPG for the Switch collection. The SaGa games are a bit different compared to other turn-based RPGs, but I do enjoy them.
Also, the DS4 controller that came with my PS4, had awful stick drift. So, I picked up this refurb for a good price and it's a late 2020 model. Feels like it's new!
Got more PS4 games the last few days. Hunting for PS4 games, has been so much fun. So many bangers for incredibly cheap prices. Collecting for PS4 in 2025, reminds me a lot of collecting for 3DS from 2017 to 2019. Then everyone was interested in Switch and 3DS was an after thought.
While, I absolutely love my handhelds & Switch, I felt like something was missing from my collection. The PS5 and Switch 2 is a bit too rich for my blood, so I decided to get a PS4 Pro. Absolutely loving the experience so far. The games are so affordable. Best deal in gaming right now imo.

Thank

The pixel remasters new arranged versions are fantastic to listen to. So, there is that for sure.
The generous boosts the game give, made FF2 tolerable to play as a busy adult. But proto SaGa mechanics were certainly something. πππ
Making my way through the Final Fantasy pixel remasters on Switch.
Final Fantasy I: Interesting to see where it all started, decent game play and overall a nice quick game to get through.
Final Fantasy II: Ambitious and interesting story for a 1980s RPG, absolutely terrible in every other way.
I don't know if boasting about watching people's misfortunes as a source of entertainment is a good look. Considering how hard these people work to support their families and the inevitable obligatory social gatherings afterward, laughing at them for missing their train is a bit pathetic, imho.
For whatever reason, your videos haven't been showing up in my subscription feed lately. Idk if its just me or others as well. But wanted to let you know.
@vgp-videogamesplus.bsky.social Any chance you guys can do a reprint of The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails?
I have never been so indirectly sorry and embarrassed to my host country as an American citizen until this happened. The more bad news comes out, the more awful I feel. If it weren't for my family, I'd never go back to America at this point.
Needs more Switch physical games πππ
@kwonjangho.bsky.social Was sad to hear your time with Korea 24 has come to an end. Congratulations on the 6 year plus run. Good luck in your future endeavors, and I hope to hear more podcast episodes in the near future. π«‘
I'm not in a rush to get a Switch 2 now, if ever. But I definitely wanted an upgrade from my original 2017 model. So I got first Switch OLED. Not only that, but I decided to splurge a bit and get the TOTK model.
I'm absolutely loving it. The colors are so vibrant and really pop.
