Sometimes I "nerd out" about sheep dog related stuff. This is one of those times. For the last 14 years only two people have won the Norwegian Series Sheep Dogs Finals. Not only that but every dog to win since 2009 has been either Maico or his sons and daughters or grand pups. 🤯

Training on new sheep in a new area today. I like to get away from home with the dogs and expose them to different fields, sheep, and people. It sets them up for success when we go trialing.

The mountains of western Norway are breathtaking. The valley's or "dal" have there charms as well. Here the dogs and I walked along a logging road and gained a few hundred feet of elevation to find the sun.
