"Though my magic seems to be inate, I could probably teach you a thing or two about control." She put up her hands.

"But if you don't want to, I understand! I know we just met and all, --

"Huh..." Leona tilted her head curiously. Her brows furrowed in thought as she looked at Katherine.

"Have you tried seeking out a magic teacher? With how common it seems to be, I can imagine it wouldn't be hard. Then you can gain control faster!"

Leona chuckled, temporarily forgetting that Ruby was indeed, a wolf.

"I'd day stay close. Don't want to have you thrown in the pound.

It wasn't so much a memory as it was... familiarity? Something about the nature of the park brought back a feeling that I'd forgotten. Maybe going again could --

Leona's jaw dropped slightly as she listened. It was unheard of for humans to gain any sort of powers that way. Usually, they had to be taught.

"Oh, wow! That's interesting. Luckily you weren't hurt at all. You really don't remember anything about what happened?"

"Ohhh that explains a lot!" She crossed her legs and leaned forward, clearly interested in hearing more.

"Plants were never my thing, but I love meeting humans who love animals. Have you traveled anywhere interesting lately?

"Umm... pretty good! Made a new friend and got to feed a deer! I found this really nice park I think you'd enjoy. I'm thinking of taking my dog there if you want to come with sometime."

Leona tapped her chin in thought. Then, she lit up. "And uhh... Oh! I think I remembered something?"

Eventually, the deer had its fill. It pulled away from Katherine and nudged her baby away as well. Though it was gone, Leona didn't get up. Opting to sit on the grass instead.

"I don't meet a lot of people like that. What do you do for work, if I may ask?"

My favorite was an enemies to lovers I did with my friend back on Twitter. What made them so good is that our OCs worked at the same place, and eventually became absolutely devoted lovers to each other.

"Most humans don't really know what they're capable of doing." She said, not remember that she herself, looked human at the moment.

"Though the fact that we agree about working with our environment does explain a lot about you!"

Note: You cannot express interest in Leona romantically, but nothing is promised. It entire depends on the chemistry.

"Yeah! Animals are super intuitive. She can tell you're good."

Leona looked to the baby for a second, making sure it was okay before looking back to Katherine and the doe.

"Oh wow, you're a natural at this."

"Yeah, she's a little skittish, but she trusts you."

Leona continued to watch Katherine. smiling softly.

"As long as we don't bother her baby, she'll stick around."

Friendly, but also weird cause she will have a full conversation with a squirrel.

-- and placed it under hers. Leona then grabbed a bit more grass and, in one swift movement, moved her hand and dropped the grass into Katherine's so that the deer continued to eat.

Leona smiled, happy with her actions.

There was a brief exchange between Leona and the deer. At first, it didn't seem like it was going to move. Then, the deer slowly closed the space between them. There was a moment of hesitation before it decided to eat out of Leona's hand.

The fairy smiled. Then, she gently took Katherine's hand --

Leona took a few steps forward before stopping. Then, she picked a few blades of grass and held her hand out. Once again, without realizing, Leona slipped into animal language. This time, it was a series of high-pitched nasal grunts and English.

'Hey, want some food? If you could get closer so --

Leona turned in the direction Katherine pointed. When she saw the deer, it took everything in her not to squeal. She clasped her hands over her mouth. The fairy took a deep breath before crouching down, taking Katherine's wrist, and getting closer.

"Come on. And stay very quiet, okay?"

-- shook it off and continued walking.

"Okay, good! I promise you'll like him, he's a sweetheart."

She smiled, happily following along. She constantly looked around at all the sights. The trees, the sky, the occasional bird. It started to stir some very familiar feelings deep inside her.

Leona paused for a moment. But she quickly --

"I am chronically single, but Happy Valentine's Day!"
