And I also heard this being said a lot to both boys and girls growing up by Canadian parents too, maybe not as harsh as our grandparents generation, but still pretty dismissive

My mum definitely got told they growing up, my grandparents are Italian immigrants who grew up with their villages being bombed, so everything was very “get on with it”
I think a lot of doctors still have that ancient antiqued view that women’s health issues are like just some kind of hysteria, which is awful and freighting
One thing that has always interested me is the synthesis of a bands visual style with their music, and I think Suede does that really well. Which of their era’s is your favourite in this regard? (debut for me)
'Design for Life' getting bested by 'Return of The Mack' is funny to me, but the fact that this happened is this just sad
Unhinged ads always lead to great things. Our most famous in Ontario is probably this guy:

New episode is out now! Two full hours' worth.
Discussion w/a great friend of mine about Suede In 1999,their continued position as a "European band" plus some 'Head Music' chat

Also did a silly Suede biopic casting with some friends one time, we landed on Jason Statham in a bad wig as Brett (Mads Mikkelsen is the obvious choice probably)

Great suedey film

Really great show! Lots of energy, the more electronic elements to their sound work really well live. They also did cheeky covers of fun. and Olivia Rodrigo
Nathan Drake from Uncharted! Not a series for everyone but he’s a very fun character!
