Itβs past time for Trump and Hegseth to come clean on this. They already know the truth. What they are doing now is simply refusing to accept responsibility.
Good.
A reminder that Nigel Farage, Kemi Badenoch and the entire Conservative-supporting press have spent the past week lambasting Keir Starmer for not joining the Iran war.
Here's what has happened since then to public opinion

Starmer has honour, integrity and intelligence
Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage want Britain to blindly follow Trump into this illegal war, even though the President has no plan for what comes next.
There is nothing patriotic about outsourcing Britainβs foreign policy to Donald Trump.
King Charles would dishonour the British public by visiting Trumps America
The King is supposed to be visiting the USA *next month*. This is the definition of a diplomatic nightmare. In all seriousness, I would urge him to pull a sickie.

Oakeshott Uk migrant living in Dubai
Genuine questions: could these people be in the pay of the regime? And would that, to use language some of them favour, make them both βeconomic migrantsβ *and* βwelfare scroungersβ?

The GOP has a new candidate for Texas-23, Brandon Herrera. In addition to being a Mein Kampf-brandishing admirer of Adolf Hitler, Herrera is also well known for organizing a recreation of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr in which he gleefully pulled the trigger.
It is absolutely insane that the US appears to have targeted desalination plants first β putting them onto the board. Iran seems to have already retaliated against one in Bahrain. This is one of the most obvious ways this could spiral.
Oh.
If only the BBC had journalists that could look into this π
