I firmly believe that good will prevail, and I support the people who are fighting to achieve this.
For all those with whom I've engaged with, given support to I'm sorry to have to stop engaging. There is a lot happening in the world right now that I'm interested in, concerned about, appalled at, but for my own mental health I need a break. I need to find inspiration in nature, not napalm.
A very long break. Information gathering, inspiration, and networking I can achieve through other sources, and anyone who wants to do so can find me if they look hard enough.
I've been weighing up the benefits vs negatives, and in order to reestablish my creative process I think it's necessary to take a break from all social media.
I've also realized that social media in general is inhibiting my creativity (you'd think that would be obvious, but it takes a while for my brain to process these things).
I've been recently changing my social media presence, giving up Facebook and Instagram because the ethical and moral values I hold dear are nowhere to be found in Meta.
