I beat Super Metroid today. It is a really good game, and I loved it very much, and it reminded me of how-- not unlike the assassination of JFK-- video games have a way of seeming like just a really fun pleasant time, but then suddenly they hit you with surprise emotions that you never saw coming.

Half the reason editing sucks so much is render times. Im sure I could use a better program than Vegas Pro 14, where I could do stuff in one render instead of several, but I've used it for years and I'm stubborn

Aside from CS I really wish there was a game similar-ish to playing Minecraft with the mine colonies mod. I like building games where everything becomes more automated as you go, and a little bit of combat is okay but I prefer it sparse. I really like Satisfactory but thats not really a city builder
I really wish there was a game that played exactly like cities skylines except was fantasy/medieval themed. I really enjoy city building games but I'm very particular about them.
