President Donald Trump has no sense of, nor any respect for, established boundaries, public or private. That should have been the lesson we took from the Access Hollywood recording.

We all should be ashamed and fearful that we've handed such immense power to such an individual.

The best way to put it is that Trump has no sense of, or respect for, boundaries, and he's surrounded himself with like-minded people. That should scare every one of us.

People just want to live their lives, and these fucking elites with greed and grudges keep launching wars at each other that cause us to die.

These elites should not be allowed to rule us any more. Fuck their greed. Fuck their grudges. Make them fight each other instead.

As an atheist, I don't hate organized religion. I think religion is the result of bad information sustained and perpetuated by socialization and societal pressures.

I do think building a nation based on "my god says I'm special" is kinda silly, and has resulted in some real atrocities, though.

Instead of "Global warming" let's call it "Global energizing."

Instead of "illegal alien" or "undocumented alien", let's call them "unauthorized visitors."

Instead of "religion" let's call it "socially reinforced adult make believe."

Joel Webbon is a cowardly coward who's so scared of having an uncomfortable conversion with his daughter about different people in his neighborhood that he'd rather see those people eliminated from his life (deportation, conformity, or whatever).

I think Bowden did that with both expansion pick players as a way to control who the team lost. It was kinda inventive, and I don't remember any backlash against the move.

One thing the Trump administration doesn't realize is that this isn't like it was 40, 50, 60 years ago. The rest of the world doesn't need the US anymore. They've grown up, and they'll be happy to go along without us is we keep this crap up.

I've started telling religious folks that I don't buy their sales pitch. Because all they have to sell is an idea.

If your thinking is simplistic and anti-human, then I can understand why you'd buy into bad ideas like this.

Seems to me like your beliefs rest on deep insecurities, if your religion demands you disrespect others' boundaries by forcing conversations others didn't invite.

Also, since I'm a life long atheist who's never had any deity demonstrated, I am not, as you posted, living in rebellion.

All I'm asking is that you stop mischaracterizing atheists because you don't agree with us.

I'm not really interested in doing that. You find fulfillment and social reinforcement in holding to your beliefs, and that's not something I'm interested in taking from you. I just wish you'd show others the same respect, instead of trying to pull people into your belief system.

I don't engage in those types of arguments, because you cannot argue anything, including deities, into or out of existence. All claims about our shared reality must me demonstrated.
