iβve done the same for the last 10 years and why i think i might but just make it manageable like last year. although i also use storygraph
thatβs how i did last years i set a goal i would definitely achieve itβs good at taking off the pressure isnβt it?!
Have you set reading goal for the number of books you wanna read this year?
Iβve not set any reading goals on goodreads or storygraph this year (first time in YEARS) and feel liberatedβ¦ will i cave in a matter of days? as i love me a goal! π€

The image shows a screenshot of the Goodreads app's notifications page. The highlighted notification reads: "Review your 2024 Year in Books with personalized reading stats," posted 8 hours ago. Below the notification, an overlay text in pink reads: "NOPE NOPE NOPE." Beneath this, more text in pink states: "I still have 10 reading days left of 2024!! My year is not over and cannot be reviewed @goodreads." The background of the app is beige, and the interface displays tabs for "Notifications," "Messages," and "Requests."

Book cover of On The Savage Side by Tiffany McDaniel. It shows a womanβs lower part of her face and neck, mirrored. One has blue lipstick on half her mouth, the other has red lipstick on half her mouth
This book will stay with me.
1st-EVERY SINGLE TRIGGER WARNING
A haunting, mystical, loving eulogy to women who were neglected & forgotten by society. An existence tragically, terrifyingly exploited by men incl. their murderer
TY @memydogandbooks.bsky.social for another PHENOMENAL rec! βοΈ #booksky
A cheerful holiday-themed image featuring a person with bright yellow glasses, smiling while holding a scruffy black and tan dog wearing a festive bow tie. They are in front of a glowing Christmas tree adorned with red and gold ornaments. The text at the top reads "HOLIDAY READING RECS" in bold red lettering, flanked by holly decorations. On the right side of the image, there is a collage of holiday-themed book covers, including titles like *The Christmas Appeal*, *NOS4A2*, and *Krampus*. The overall vibe is festive and cozy.
My latest BookTube - festive holiday recs with zero romance
