Exercising through blinding or blackout pain is a magic trick I have been attempting to learn for decades. Although with my disability, you are specifically NEVER supposed to exercise if there is any pain since that indicates damage to the muscles and we don't heal our muscles easily.

Unless the doctor is going to provide realistic diet advice and/or how to safely exercise in ways to improve my situation in high technical detail, I treat their advice as useless. If I exercise incorrectly, I easily cause permanent muscle damage. It adds up fast.

I hate being told to lose weight, exercise, and/or change my diet. I then tell them in gory detail how much I currently exercise and how long I spend paralyzed in punishment for it.
However, when my coworkers didn't stand together about Hate speech, it make the work place a less comfortable place and the affected people were heavily discriminated against as well as the few "allies" who said something against the hate speech.
We all stand together and grow or we all fall apart to Hate.
When my coworkers stood together against an injustice or hate speech, the person corrected their behavior (although they pretended they didn't know it was offensive at least they stopped).
