💰 A work posted online in July 2024 (arxiv.org/pdf/2407.16551) is making news at the start of 2025. It estimates that globally, a total of $8.968 billion were spent on article processing charges (APCs) for open access between 2019 and 2023.
🌱 A growing community
🌍 Started by three members of the same laboratory (UMR PNCA), the PCI hashtag#Nutrition is now made up of 32 recommenders from a dozen countries with a wide range of expertise in nutrition

There are now 19 thematic PCIs but many disciplines remain to be covered! We are therefore making a call for the creation of new thematic PCIs and giving some information on how to start:
