It's GRAND!
The reverse mountain was so anticipated to see, and did not disappoint.
I can't wait to see Little Garden next.

Apparently. It might be time to rethink that tho.

There's a new hot bird in town! And it's the first time NYC has ever seen a trumpeter swan, in recorded history (after it came back from the brink of extinction). In the last week, it's been spotted frequently hanging out with one of our mute swans π

Probably Vaporeon because of the whole fur to scales fur and gills thing.
So wild.
Also I'm very proud of you and your book, and I can't wait to read it. It might have to be a summer read, when I have time though. π
I had a similar experience in graduate school when I left my poorly paid post-doc to become a science writer, but it was the lab head, who may have had ulterior motives.
Well, I've been a successful professional writer for 20+ years, so I guess he was mistaken.
Holy shit! This is a whole ass shit show. This is an American woman living in the UAE. My country is being run by complete imbeciles right now. Not to mention how badly theyβre lying to us with little amount of information they are putting out. Iβm just ashamed. #TrumpsEpicFailure
Have you tried homing pigeon?
A green Malachite butterfly that looks similar to a Monarch, blends into the background of green foliage.
Iβd never seen a green Monarch looking butterfly before. It really blended into its surroundings. Have a transformational week π¦ Blueskyπ¦

The kakapo, a critically endangered parrot species that can be found only in New Zealand, are mating at a record pace this year, making the most of one of the best bumper crops in decades of the fruit from coniferous rimu trees, according to scientists.
I want to see Senator Whitehouse become President simply because I want to see the press stumble over saying
" President Whitehouse in the Whitehouse"
"Whitehouse on the Whitehouse grounds"
"At the Whitehouse with Whitehouse"
"Whitehouse's Whitehouse now"
Omg me too! And I was convinced it was reeeeeaaaallll.
Also along the Delaware River are Frenchtown and Lambertville, really cute little one street shopping towns, and Flemington, which is a bit larger, but also very nice.
There's so many I can't listen them all.
The Delaware Water Gap
Clinton NJ
If they took Rt. 78 or Rt. 80, which run East to West, they would start out in the populated Newark area but eventually run into the lovely town of Clinton or the Delaware Water Gap, both of which are old charming Victorian small towns.
The two most traveled are the NJ turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. The first runs northeast/southwest through the state from the NYC region to the Philly adjacent region. The other runs from the top to the bottom right through the densest areas.
That's what most people see of NJ, sadly.
Topological map of New Jersey. Rural areas can be found in Northwestern areas like Sussex County near the Delaware Water Gap, or western Central NJ along the Delaware River, or deep mid-south in the Pine Barrens.
The population density of New Jersey. Most of the population is centered as suburban "bedroom" cities as outgrowth from Philly or New York.
Of course we do.
NJ is extremely varied topologically.
The lower half of the states is silt, sand, clay, and home to peat bogs, blueberry, cranberry and the pine barrens
The upper western part of the state is shale, limestone, granite and the DWG.
Our population centers grow from NYC and Philly.
