Yes, hello, is that God? Yeah, hi. I have a complaint. You gave me this brain that’s designed for finding berries and avoiding lions and now people are β€˜just circling back’ to see if we can β€˜move the needle’ on β€˜key initiatives’? NONE of those things are berries.

The same rectangular coffee table but part of the lid is lifted up on pneumatic arms to make a higher surface to eat off, allowing access to the storage inside.

After a bit of a hiatus I put together the coffee table. Check it out, it's all pneumatic and sh*t. πŸ˜‹

This is amazing.

When the government kills a crucial report, independent scientists decide to write it anyway and release it outside of government channels.

That’s science serving society, even when our political leaders don’t.

If you find something that looks like my writing in Claude, here's a good reason: it's on the legal record that Anthropic stole every fucking book I've ever written. That's not the AI's writing. It's mine.

The NYT knows this, by the way. This is pro-AI propaganda and they fucking know it.

Amazing how all those six-figure deals were inked in the first couple of hours of London Book Fair.

Except, of course, they weren't. Whatever you do, don't feel crap because you're not an LBF darling. Most of this stuff was sorted out months ago and the announcements saved for this week.

See that's the thing: creative work has almost never been very profitable. But creatives have always paid the bills by using the same skills on some more boring task like ad copy or art commissions or something.

Giving that "boring" work to AI starves creatives.

Also, check out the article for a picture of the bench. If you hadn't told me they were meant to be devil horns I'd never have known. I'm not even sure which part they're talking about, the design on the back or the points on either end?
