I’ve watched the Sesko goal about two dozen times now. The pace, the finish. It’s lovely. But the ball from Mbeumo is delicious. It looks so easy but to put it *exactly* into Sesko’s path so he doesn’t have to break stride is gorgeous.

The problem with supporting United is you have to share the space with some of the most attention-seeking weirdos on the planet.

It feels like all of Sesko’s goals for us have been one-touch or two-touch at most. As Ole Gunnar always attests, it’s such a vital skill for a striker to get an effort away before a defender can react.

I do think it’s high time Sesko begins starting games as our striker. He’s such a target but he’s also so mobile. Gives us a real dynamism up front that Mbeumo and Cunha don’t.

Feel sorry for West Ham there. Thought we were very pedestrian up front and defended their goal appallingly. They were compact, hit us on the break a few times and it has taken a lovely Sesko finish to nick us a point.

Luke Shaw has had a shocker there but how have Mainoo and Casemiro allowed Soucek to just stroll past them onto that cross? Dreadful all round.
