Today in cat scam news, my cat has worked out this scam where she pretends her normal food is completely inedible so that she can live off the treats she convinces me to give her. But then at night when she thinks I'm sleeping I can hear her crunch crunch crunching the normal food

I think a lot about this quote from Anaïs Nin’s diary from 1939-1944:

He bolts upright and realizes that he can solve the problem. All is right in the world again. Douglas: Oh... I figured it out. Liam: I knew you could.
