Well, that was a kick in the balls

Came to America when I was 17. Put myself through medical school by doing sex work. ER physician for 10 years. COVD burnout. Had a kid. Switched career path into Reproductive Endocrinology. My story in a nutshell Swimmer ππΌββοΈ Runner ππ½ββοΈ Hiker πΆπ½ββοΈ Proud Mama π©βπ©βπ¦βπ¦

Iβm still baffled that they are doing Mel's malpractice deposition today. What kind of lawyers and court officers work on the Fourth of July in a non-urgent capacity? #tvsky #thepitt
Seeing that this was based on a true story, my take away from Wicked Little Letters is that when people are receiving anonymous violent, sexually explicit notes, even sans any evidence the British will always blame the whore from Ireland π
Putting children on trial for their immigration status and forcing them to navigate the legal system on their own, and we're not allowed to know what happens in these proceedings.
What a country.

I know that his words were just those of an individual man. But it followed a period when I was already having increased anger towards God and βGodβs planβ. and it opened my eyes to lots of things that are fundamentally wrong with the church.
I really enjoyed Wicked Little Letters a lot. Jesse Buckley again gives an outstanding performance that we would expect from her. Rose Gooding is my kind of gal.

I'd like to share the link for CLMP's "A Reading List for Women's History Month 2026." I'm #10. Congrats to all the amazing authors listed!

Yep!
I turned to him for spiritual guidance and comfort when I was lost and didnβt have any answers. The betrayal of him taking what I had shared in confession and then using it against me was crushing. I canβt even describe how much that hurt.
When I catch a virus from my childβwhether itβs the flu, norovirus, or the common coldβwhile it sucks, itβs also an affirmation to me that I did my job well, snuggling him up and comforting him when he was feeling his lowest #momsky #parenting
Thanks, Louise! Have a great day!
Happy Wednesday, Kalifornia!
Have a great day, Jasmine!
I agree! She absolutely carried that film!
In any other year when she isn't going against Jessie Buckley in Hamnet, she likely wins the Oscar for this role
I am so sorry for your loss. I know that you know this, but let the sadness in and don't fight it. Allow grief to do it's thing, and in the meantime cherish all the warm memories you have of your friend
If you look west and a little bit south, I will wave at you
I wasn't always a full time #author with several successful books in print. (1/11)
Truth be told, I failed 100x more than I succeeded.
But some of the projects I worked on have paved the way to the artist and writer I am today.
Here's a quick timeline of some of my projects:
I'm not just a stickler for putting it in the return, but my OCD kicks in if the carts are just thrown in there haphazardly and then I need to fix and arrange them so they are lined up and locking in with each other
"Ireland is steeped in deep Christian and Catholic tradition"
Sure, for a microsecond of our history
LOL, right?

And it would be a strong call back to one of his first lines on the show.
"It's the job that keeps on giving. Nightmares. Stomach ulcers. Suicidal tendencies."
Eh, yeah I have heard that chatter. I dunno. He's in a very dark place obviously. And a story line like that would reflect on the high suicide rate for ER physicians and nurses.
But he is also an anchor of the show. So I don't know.
I still have my bad days when the energy just isn't there, but overall I really have been feeling good lately
Thanks, Kalifornia! Don't get too envious. We are New England in March, afterall. The 40's and low cloud deck is set to come roaring back in here on Wednesday
It looks good! I satisfies the criteria for my "food served in baskets is usually pretty good" theory
I have the "with ads" tier of both. I think they are pretty much the same. I remember when Disney/Huly first started having ads, it was obnoxious. There would be SO many ads in a half-hour sitcom. But I feel it's gotten better
Good morning!
I like it a lot! The theme of urbanism for us, environmental protection really resonated with me
