Say what
@patstuffns
I like comics, and I'm a charter member of the Kieron Dwyer fan club. In other comic news: FINISH BLACK MONDAY MURDERS OR WE RIOT. My two favourite baseball teams are the Red Sox and whoever is playing the Yankees.
Say what
Dear friends, I would be extremely grateful if you would repost any of my posts about our Dan Dare: First Contact graphic novel Kickstarter. It's a complete passion project for all involved, being made with love and only way the book will be made is with your support - many thanks everyone.

I feel like the Mud Pack arc was my introduction to Norm Breyfogle. It was the arc that made me love him in any event.
Well winter's back on its bullshit
Domino is great. Also liking Cannonball a lot.
I think I blame Tom DeFalco and Lyja the Lazerfist for this.
It turns out......HE WAS ACTUALLY A SKRULL
I'm sure this isn't fair, but in my head, Secret Invasion is basically OMG HE WAS A SKRULL over and over, and I just never ever wanna read it.
Joke? No.
Lie?
Yes.
Been sitting on these guys for a while. Had it in my head that I wanted to read the lead up issues to the black armor from the original run before getting into this.....but it turns out that I am missing a bunch of them. So here we go.

Such a brilliant series. They are apparently gonna come back to it, and I'm @#$%ing here for it.
"Afterwards, he provided all his government officials with shoes that fit."

I've only got issue #1. Picked it up on a whim on a Facebook auction. Definitely intrigued enough to hunt down more. I really liked Milligan's Dark Knight Dark City Batman story, I'm interested in reading more of his stuff.
It's super good. I'm definitely interested in tracking down more issues.
Thanks! Don't know anything about it! Things have quieted down down there, so here we go.
I'll start reading it as soon as my wife stops reprimanding my cat.
The Pat's evening read.
May I ass you a few questions
When you change the name of the Department of Defense to the Department of War, this is the type of behaviour you can come to expect.

Every time something like this pops up, I immediately think of this 20 year old cartoon from Married To The Sea. I didn't think much of it at the time, but now it seems downright prescient.
This is the truest statement.
*it doesn't matter if I mentioned it or not. No one follows this.
Not sure if I mentioned*, but got every Powers TPB for like $18 CAD. Finally getting to it. This page encapsulates Bendis for me. The self-indulgence. You can just feel how pleased he is with himself. If you are equally pleased, then you are likely a Bendis fan, which is certainly not a bad thing.
This thread.
Stay strong. Good thoughts from Nova Scotia.
