Reign still fucking hates Estinien's guts because of the DRG questline. I recognize his growth and his character development, but Reign? Reign still wants to knock his head off his shoulders. He remembers almost losing an eye in that fight. It was his first scar from a fight.
Guys lets all be okay with your characters not liking everyone and having messy complicated feelings or even pure hatred towards even fan favorite characters bc ur characters feelings do not have to reflect on u as a writer and its even fun writing things that are contrary to ur own feelings

Like I spend a lot of time thinking about how my characters stories start and end, and the only way I see Reign's story ending is suddenly. There is no peaceful fading out in his future. He's going to march forwards until something finally stops him, and that doesn't make for a good parent.
I think regardless of the timeline, regardless of who his partner is, Reign wouldn't consider having children on purpose. He, as a person, is someone who finds fulfillment and joy in putting his life on the line and testing his limits. The risk of actively abandoning his child would be far too high.
