Today's project is building some truck NPC drivers to dodge on a highway map
Man, I definitely thank Hades 2 for getting me into Louis Cole and Knower, that has been the entirety of my coding music playlist all week so far.

Today I am simply staying inside, baking bread and making game. It is a nice change of pace.
I don't post about politics here because I try to limit that to people that I trust, but I will say this much: I've been tear-gassed twice in the past two days and that shit really sucks.
When I had the idea of making a vector based game engine, it occurred to me that it would be rad if the game could talk to a REAL vector display.
I can confirm it is rad.
I've got so much work to do but I'm hoping to get the actual game play working on the oscilloscope soon, stay tuned.

definitely makes sense, given their other song youtu.be/GeOSWLGKuaE
Alright, after a few months off for the holidays, back to gamedev for February. First task is upgrading Circuit Burn to Godot 4.6
messed with some shaders and it turned out really cool
I think you should be able to call accept_event on the control and stop an InputEvent from propagating after you capture it.
everyone should checkout Messenger by Abeto. it's a free browser game where ur just a little delivery kid on a little planet!

Hmm, Plants vs. Zombies, Luigi's Mansion, Lollipop Chainsaw, Dead Island (or maybe that one isn't supposed to be as funny as it is)
Absolutely lovely to go completely offline and just attend a wedding over the weekend. I recommend the experience to anyone.
A FogVolume with a fog shader can also be a nice easy built in way to do this, though you have to turn the froxel resolution up to get that level of detail.
Ironically the first big reactionary meltdown that I saw him have (way before his supposed "turn" to the right) was him screaming about Amy Winehouse directly after her death in 2011. We were mutuals before that and after I ran away from him as fast as I could.
Going to a wedding all weekend this weekend, and honestly it's so nice to have an event that is all about hope for the future at this moment.
In Metal Gear Solid (1998), when fighting the Hind D helicopter, you're advised to keep track of its location by listening to the stereo panning. But if you've set "Sound" to "Monaural" in the Options menu, you get this exclusive addition. . .
PEOPLE: - Shigeru Miyamoto, age 56. Creator of Zelda & Mario. - Satoru Iwata, age 49. President of Nintendo. QUOTE: Miyamoto: Even if you slip up just before clearing the castle [in a Mario game], you'll be sent right back to the starting point. Maybe this is all due to my nasty streak! [laughs] But I think playing at that level of intensity is actually the most enjoyable way to play. Iwata: You think it's more fun to have to play from the start of the level again? Miyamoto: With platform games, only playing the difficult parts can really take it out of you. It feels good to play parts that you can breeze through as well. โฆ Iwata: That's why rather than having lots of checkpoints where you can save your position, it's better to play through the easy part again. Miyamoto: Right. That's more pleasurable for the player.ย

Surprisingly if a NN model isn't gigantic or non-local on a cloud server somewhere it can be a pretty responsive technology. There's plenty of hobbyists who have trained models to play Trackmania, for example - and things like DLSS use pre-trained models in real-time applications.
I think Forza used some amount of ML as well, or at least so they claim
