Congrats in advance to SonicFox
I've probably posted about this before but please. PLEASE play I Am Your Beast, if you enjoyed Neon White I promise you will love I Am Your Beast. I cannot stress this enough, how good this short and fun game is. Plus the story for how little there is, is an absolute banger too
a sketchbook spread. the left side has a background of painted plants and foliage, and a crouched up person with a goopy black head floats in front of it. its eye is facing forward despite the head being in profile, kind of like in Egyptian art. the right side has a self portrait of me in a cartoony style (I have black hair and a fuzzy patterned jacket, I'm holding a book and have a FjΓ€llraven bag behind me), a drawing of fern in a black square, and a tall turquoise house with dark red and orange details. I have cut out the windows and stuck gold paper on the back so the windows are shiny
a dotwork drawing of two mountains and a sky and trees. instead of a sun between the mountains there is an eye with a shiny gold iris and no pupil
the same drawing as in the previous picture, but tilted so the iris is more reflective. my uni notes on architecture are visible around the drawing
guess who discovered my "shiny paper" was actually foil
It's december 31st. A day before 2026. I get a tiktok. It's a fancam of shawn michaels. And not just a regular fancam. But a thirst trap fan cam
Maybe the world is healing
Hooooooooooooooooooorse

Are we far enough from the Game Awards now that I can say this?
Everytime the muppets are one screen I wish I could skip forward. Love the muppets, I don't need them at the game awards
Also theoretically it would be control, but that game just really doesn't grab me. I love the universe and SCP is such a big thing for me but damn man I just really cannot get behind the gameplay
Not counting DLC, because Monster Hunter is just really my shit
Then: Splitgate
Now: DMC5
Personally don't believe this is possible, but I would also love to be proven wrong *platonically*
This one's gonna bang I can feel it
Will I be able to follow the plot of Metroid Prime Beyond if I haven't played Metroid Prime Bed and Metroid Prime Bath?
Hey as someone who loves jingling keys and multicoloured lights please don't put me on the same level as these absolute dorks
Playing DMC 5 again. You cannot convince me devil trigger is not an absolute banger. Every DMC (yes even that one) has had a soundtrack so good I truly do not think another game series comes close
'Few games capture the spirit of indie game development quite like VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action. What initially started out as a short game for a Cyberpunk Game Jam back in 2014, soon became a standout indie hit. VA-11 Hall-A delivers a heartfelt story of happiness in the depths of disaster, draped in a unique cyberpunk aesthetic and set to a distinctive synthwave soundtrack to match. Itβs a truly remarkable visual novel, and the perfect choice for our Design Works range. Produced in collaboration with Sukeban Games and Ysbryd, VA-11 Hall-A: Design Works explores the corrupt metropolis of Glitch City, its culture, and the people who frequent the gameβs beloved hole in the wall, VA-11 Hall-A. Written by talented journalist and author Ashley Schofield (Polygon, EDGE, Unwinnable and VGC), youβll hear how this world came to be and the cyberpunk touchstones that inspired it β all the while lending insight into the history of Venezuela, where the team is located, and the unique challenges of developing a game there. VA-11 Hall-A: Design Works will be a celebration of this beautiful indie masterpiece, and the people that made it all possible. Alongside contemporary interviews with writer/programmer Fernando Damas and artist/designer Christopher Ortiz conducted exclusively for VA-11 Hall-A: Design Works, the book also features a collection of highlights from the βDaily VA-11 Hall-Aβ blog posts directly from Sukeban.moe. You can also expect deep dives into the development of the gameβs prototype and prologue; the bartending mechanics that put you in the shoes of disaster bisexual bartender Jill Stingray, and interviews exploring its iconic synthwave soundtrack/jukebox with composer Michael Kelly. VA-11 Hall-A: Design Works features detailed insight into the gameβs early concepts and development, an exploration of Glitch City itself, and a deep dive into the programming, art and soundtrack β an unmissable read for any fan.'
A magazine cover of Unwinnable Monthly #191, with the feature being my essay 'I Don't Want To Be This Kind of Animal Anymore' and art by Shafer Brown. An excerpt reads: In the dark times, should the stars also go out? 'Revachol is still. Silent. Decades of unrest, corruption and capital gain have reduced it to a shell of a city. And yet, under these sullen skies, a miracle is happening. The limbed and headed machine of pain and undignified suffering is firing up again.'
My review of Hollow Knight: Silksong for Video Games Chronicle. 'Hollow Knight: Silksong review: A game that intends to make you suffer, even to its own detriment. Team Cherryβs sequel has a clear mission statement, but doesnβt seem to consider the consequences. 3/5 stars.'
My review of Demonschool for Rock Paper Shotgun, included in RPS' Bestest Bests category. 'Demonschool review Saturday morning carcasses.'

The only time I will buy and play expedition 33 is when it goes 33% off which they will inevitably do at some point down the line and if they don't they're cowards
If I slide you a tenner would you bring up Reach
Because I haven't taken a good picture of myself since
Truly the curse I have to bear
As a proud member of the BBM we will absolutely accept you, but if you try hold on to the hair that you're losing we will also rip the shit out of you
Bloodlines 2 release date today, really hoping that after years of waiting this turns out at least passable. My expectations are a game that mostly hits the vibe but misses some important things
The patience you have is astounding
Love to see our local Ash getting in there with a very well written review
