He is an alcoholic and cannot be depended upon in an emergency to offer the President the best and clearest options.
NO on Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense.
He has no defense to the charges of sexual assault.
He has expressed opinions regarding women in the armed forces that suggest he would negatively affect our military readiness.
He proved to be an incompetent (or, worst case, willfully malfeasant) manager of a relatively small organization - he cannot be expected to do well leading the largest organization on earth, no matter how accomplished his staff is.
