Everywhere you look, it's death and destruction. Truly awful times. Where will it end?

Nothing to do over Xmas, and nowhere to go, really. And seventeen days in which to do it.
Oh well. About time I made a dent in my Steam account.

Why so many Monday games for United?

Awful scenes today in Manchester.
I hope this doesn't bubble over into more trouble.

I'd love to know how many times Arteta has been told off for leaving his technical area.
I'd guess somewhere between zero...and zero.

How the battle of Claremont Road changed the world: β€˜The whole of alternative London turned up’ Thirty years ago, more than 500 activists united to save a street – and their actions marked a major turning-point in the environmental movement

This is an interesting account. It was a really charged time, the mid 90s. The Criminal Justice Act was big news, and the ravers and activists were getting the full force of it.
Love that the activists were playing "Jilted Generation" to the cops. Seems apt!

I have to say, I’m not feeling this whole Russia about to throw things at us vibe. Not feeling it at all.

Watching United has been hard since my father passed. We watched matches together for 30 years.
When we beat Liverpool in the cup last year (after I'd finished laughing!) I burst into tears. Hit without warning. He'd have loved that finish.
I miss him every day.

Funny how Farage, Clarkson et. al are fine with blocking the roads and disrupting people in London when they perceive it affects them.

Remember that episode of the Simpson's when Homer gets put in charge of the town's trash and Springfield becomes a total dump so they just pick the town up, move it 5 miles down the road & start again

That's kinda what's happened with Twitter & Bluesky

You dipped into Veilguard yet? I tried it, didn’t immediately hit me, but I didn’t give it a fair crack.

Max the cat sitting on a laptop with Factorio displayed on a screen behind him. He does not look impressed. He is trying to tell his owner that he wants different food than the stuff he has been given!

Max cares not for Factorio. But he does like the heat of the laptop.

YARM - Resource Monitor This mod helps you to keep track of your mining sites, with useful data such as the percent mined, and estimated time to depletion.

It's YARM: mods.factorio.com/mod/YARM
It's quite useful...but now you've said about your circuit solution it feels a bit like cheating!

Ah I see! That's great. I have a mod that is providing this info, didn't think of using circuits for it. I must explore this more. All I've really done with them is set up oil cracking
