116,000 more Minnesotans without health insurance in 2025 compared to 2023. That's before massive nationwide Medicaid cuts go into effect in January 2027. A lot of people are going to die for lack of access to health care.

Today and tomorrow are good days to reach out to Mayor Frey and ask him to support Pause Evictions, Save Lives. Give his office a call: 612-673-2100
Senate Building 95 West University Avenue Saint Paul, Minnesota 55155 NIN Minnesota House State Office Building 100 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Saint Paul, Minnesota 55155 March 10, 2026 Dear Mayor Frey, As elected officials who represent Minneapolis, we ask you to sign Pause Evictions Save Lives (legislative file 2026-00099). Temporarily extending the pre-eviction notice from 30 to 60 days gives our residents extra time that is desperately needed to help find resources to prevent eviction. We've all been amazed by our shared constituents' resiliency and resolve in the face of ICE's illegal occupation of our City. Our residents banded together to protect one another, even raising millions of dollars in mutual aid funds to help keep their neighbors in their homes. It's our duty as elected officials to match the commitment in our residents to try and keep as many of our neighbors in their homes as possible. We look to Minneapolis to lead the way and are working on similar bills to extend pre-eviction notices statewide to help our neighbors. Signing the Pause Evictions Save Lives measure will bolster our efforts and reinforce our message to our colleagues about the way in which pre-eviction notices help prevent families from being evicted. We've been so proud of the work of the City of Minneapolis to respond to this unprecedented federal invasion. Your work to increase funding for immigration legal services, rental assistance, and creating a small business resiliency fund has shown how elected officials can meet the moment. Signing Pause Eviction Save Lives is the next step in helping our residents recover and ensure none of them are left behind. Thank you to our Minneapolis state legislative delegation for urging Mayor Frey to support a pause on evictions. Our city faces a housing and addiction emergency worsened by Operation Metro Surge. A 60-day pre-eviction notice and rental assistance can help keep people housed and save lives.

Shut it all down. Abolish ice.
Dismantle DHS.
The United States gave Netanyahu billions of dollars to fund the genocide in Gaza.
Now, Netanyahu and Trump are teaming up for an unconscionable war with Iran.
The American people are sick and tired of funding atrocities to appease Israelβs genocidal apartheid regime.

Itβs day 98 of the ICE occupation of MN.
For almost 100 days, weβve been doing everything we can to protect our immigrant neighbors. This is the next step to keeping our neighbors safe.
Call on Mayor Frey to sign the 60 day pre-eviction notice.
A veto of the 60-day pre-eviction notice tells people that you want them evicted into the cold earlier and that youβre unwilling to protect our immigrant neighbors.
Let Mayor Frey know you want him to sign Pause Evictions, Save Lives.

Call Mayor Frey today at 612-673-2100 and tell him to sign Pause Evictions, Save Lives.
We fought to keep our immigrant neighbors hereβnow we need to keep them in their homes. No family should be punished for hiding from ICE by now being evicted.
We passed pause evictions, save lives. Now itβs on Mayor Freyβs Deskβ please reach out to his office to support this critical legislation and not to veto it. Call: 612-673-2100

Wishing a Powerful International Women's Day to women (absolutely incl. trans women) and girls in struggle!
#IWD has its roots in militant union & working class struggles of more than a century ago. We honor the role of women in leading anticolonial & revolutionary movements.
Today we observed six shackled detainees being loaded onto the ICE Air flight at MSP. They're heading to El Paso, where conditions are so horrific, staff gamble on who the next prisoner to commit suicide will be.
The man walking from right to left at the beginning of the clip is dragging shackles.
Rest in peace Rubin Ray Martinez. ππ½
