Temporarily extending the pre-eviction notice from 30 to 60 days gives our residents extra time that is desperately needed to help find resources to prevent eviction. We've all been amazed by our shared constituents' resiliency and resolve in the face of ICE's illegal occupation of our City. Our residents banded together to protect one another, even raising millions of dollars in mutual aid funds to help keep their neighbors in their homes.
