This is a really interesting thread. I have toyed with starting my own label for many years but never taken the plunge, lack of confidence that I can do justice to the artists holds me back I guess. I have met lots of small label owners and yes it's a labour of love, a gateway to riches it is not!

I think this is going to be one of the star releases of 2025. Sometimes you just get a good vibe about an album. Whether its the way the musicians interact on social media, the album artwork, the sound of a taster track. You know its going to come together into a great collection of tunes.
