1-2 tsp lime juice
pour over ice, drink and forget how to tie your shoelaces.
Met Office graphic with the heading 'DID YOU KNOW?' and an illustration of a light bulb. Text reads: '100 years ago today, the BBC broadcast the very first Shipping Forecast, produced by the Met Office on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.' Includes the hashtag '#WhenItMatters'. On the right, a photo shows rough ocean waves under a cloudy sky.
Did you know? 100 years ago today, the BBC broadcast the #ShippingForecast for the very first time, produced by the Met Office for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
More than just a lifesaver, itβs become a beloved part of Britainβs cultural identity. Learn more: bit.ly/4kg877D π³οΈπ

Coming up at SRS www.g8srs.co.uk
No, you do not need a ham radio license to listen to International Space Station (ISS) contacts. You will need a radio that can tune into frequencies like 145.800 MHz for educational contacts or 437.800 MHz for the repeater frequency. Many scanners or software-defined radios (SDR) can cover these frequencies.
You can listen in to ARISS space to ground communications without a radio license in most places around the world!
Tune to 437.800 MHz FM with a scanner or SDR (or of course an amateur radio) to hear the cross-band voice repeater. During STEM contacts, use 145.800 MHz FM.
6M SSB NET - Good morning members, l will be running this evening's net on SSB 50.270MHz +/- QRM at 19.30 local all members welcome. Kind regards, Simon M0TYY #hamr #hamradio @theRSGB
