I can work but working 20 hours in customer service burns me out worse than my partner who does 60 hours in a highly labor intensive job. I think that's about all the convincing I need to just give up on the idea.
I mostly need the diagnosis for the purpose of getting disability so I don't have to work while returning to college, which I have a giant disadvantage going into as I have a middle school level education despite finishing high School.
I have two autistic siblings on my dad's side andy dad, while undiagnosed, did participated in a study using a new test, which is now one of the standards for diagnosing autism in adults, scored as a high functioning autist.
I'm planning on bringing one to my neuropsyc evaluation, just gonna emphasize that I probably have autism. It'll be nice to finally have a diagnosis of it.
