I've said before that Life Without Buildings offers a simulation of what English sounds like to someone who doesn't understand it. The lyrics are so (deliberately) repetitive that they lose their semantic content and the vocals become just another instrument. It's cool.
we used it effectively as a tape machine for our bands and then would ssh into it and copy the raw wavs to a macbook that had a DAW on it for non-sickos for editing and mixing
