(There’s some good stuff in that category—the Georges Perec short in UPSIDE DAWN comes to mind—but I generally prefer the stuff that isn’t an overt mashup, like HEY, WAIT… and I KILLED ADOLF HITLER.)
Has there been any substantial longform writing on the works of Jason (Norwegian cartoonist)? I would love to see someone try to “figure him out” on a deeper level than just the obvious high-meets-low mashups, because I never can tell how I feel about that strain of his work…
