Yee it's mostly a way of maintaining the overall shapes but forcing things to smooth out as a result of the lower resolution, it also allows you to nudge stuff about with the move tool without causing any lumps
paintover plans for da new adoptable goblin
Looks like youre on the right track! You could temporarily extrude some of the 1 sided pieces and polygroup the edges before zremeshing down lower to even things out even more. You can use the smoothgroups slider in zremesher too if its causing issues as it preserves the shapes better
Will be starting a new adoptable goblin OC design this week, I wonder what the theme shall be...

2 kobolds standing next to each other. one has pink skin and is in an airy purple wrapped fabric dress with gold trim, her pose is elegant, facing away from the figure on the right but eyeing in her direction. the other has dandelion skin and is wearing a loose red crop top, with urban splinter cargo paints with pockets and a kneepad, and big red and black hightop shoes; her hands have gloves, and she's also wearing red tinted aviator goggles on her forhead. her eyes are closed, and she is facing the camera with a hand on her hip and another gesturing in the air. she is visibly sweating a bit.

Past days have been a bit rough due to migraine and aftereffects of said migraine.
But in more positive news: #catppy has done an oopsie
drawing of a teal skinned goblin with dark green hair standing somewhat facing away from us and twisting to face us. she has a mischievous expression. she's wearing bright orange chaps over black leggins, an off white tank top, and black fingerless gloves, with her feet wrapped in bandages. she has a tail with a tuft of fur on the end of it the same color as her hair

Thinking about that lil robot.
Idk how bluesky is for bots when asking stuff like this but anybody know of artists that do mixed media collage stuff like Gekidan Inu Curry/ Madoka Magica?

Having fun in Mewgenics. Bouncy proj + scattershot + mana on kill.
Tried a different approach to sculpting a πStarted with the basic leg shape with an open top that I closed off to create a new polygroup, then I just masked that polygroup, softened the edge of the mask and inflated before sculpting a lil more into it.

There's also a slew of Tik-Tok-ified short form videos some accounts post that are chock full of empty platitudes and messages that only make sense with the benefit of hindsight. I'm sure most of these people genuinely mean well but you have to be so careful when guiding people who are new.
I think when you make a tutorial it's not enough to just say something that's correct, you NEED to say it in a way that's actually helpful for the people it's aimed at. So many times a tutorial will essentially just be saying "do the right thing not the wrong thing :)".
