The #dog lies on the ground like a crime scene.
I walk the long way around him like an investigator anxious to preserve evidence.
One eye cracks open and lazily follows me.
"Hah!" I exclaim in triumph, "You broke character!"
He farts and goes back to sleep.
Rumors of my demise
Did prophesise
An end to bad verse
And thus held
Little remorse
But here I am
Polluting your timeline
With free verse
End rhyme
And anagram
An Englishman but using Chicago spelling
Whenever I can
And dropping
Punctuation
To save characters
And appease that little
Blue circle

Came across this at random, but find it interesting that other regions are experiencing these almost equatorial extremes in weather. In the north of England, I've noticed we're down to three seasons: had a heat wave over Spring that killed everything, now Autumnal Atlantic cold winds and rain.

When I started reading this I thought it said "Does anyone wee a bit now that they're older" and I thought "Hmm..." and reached for my glasses, but I threw my back out picking them up and when I finally put them on and read what this really said, I'd already weed a bit 😬 So I guess I'm old, now!
