My wife's new book 'The Storyteller' has just been published.

Took a quick trip back to Twitter to see what's going on. All completely as expected.
To save you reading it, here's the punchline:
"Manchester United, currently Β£1bn in debt, are yet to say how they plan to pay for the stadium."

The tangerine tyrant wants to take us all to hell in his handcart. We should cut him adrift whilst we still can.
A decision which will lead to the deaths of more innocent people. A decision which is not just an active show of support for Putin but also an attack on Europe and everything we stand for. We should respond accordingly #RussianAgent #PutinsPoodle news.sky.com/story/trump-...
This makes me very happy indeed.
The best response to yesterday's shocking events.

We must stand with Ukraine against Putin and Trump.
Trump is a pathetic and disgusting bully. But he's also the greatest threat to western democracy and peace in our continent. We need to cut our ties with him, focus on our true allies and protect the integrity of Europe.

I'm very pleased to see I'm not the only one to have cancelled plans to buy a Tesla. Musk is driving the business into the ground as he has successfully done with Twitter.

An awful photo, sorry. But the best night with @squeezyjohn.bsky.social and @jonboden.bsky.social. Get your tickets now for the very best of nights #bodenandspiers.
As a matter of the most tremendous good fortune, my return journey is *not* cancelled. Still further, there are no seats which is great for those preferring a terrace. My standing view for the journey is the toilet - working, save the fact that the door opens randomly all by itself. Bravo, GWR.
First train cancelled. Alternative train late at connection. Station lifts broken, train toilets out of service, wifi failing and no sign of coffee. Public transport in this country is so so poor.
I can't imagine there's a single person surprised by Welby's behaviour. Is it shocking? Yes. But surprising? Nope. It's absolutely true to form.

Seen dumped in a corner of Waterstones in Cheltenham. How on earth are they going to shift them?
Thank you Kim Leadbeater.

There's a fair bit of criticism about the #ctfc game last night. I must have been watching something else because I thought we played well and I really enjoyed it. Winning a tough game with a late goal was very much deserved.
A first visit today to The Vulcan at the ever impressive St Fagans. They've done an exceptional job... and the beer is pretty good as well!
A busy day for me as the duty solicitor at Bristol Magistrates Court - but hoping to be home in time to watch Cheltenham on the TV. Football not racing, of course!
This is excellent, thank you. Hopefully plenty more will come over here.
Just short of a week away from Twitter - Bluesky is a much happier place to drop by. Let's keep it that way!
I've found my way here after too many years on Twitter. I'm hoping that it will be a more enjoyable and positive experience!
