Boonlake came back to the table with a bang! Emma chose it but I stole victory with some different strategies that I don’t usually employ.

Picked up a copy of Oranges and Lemons by Richard Denning (Medusa Games) and one 2-player in and it’s my 2nd favourite game I own and the most rewarding worker placement game I’m ever played.

It’s a multiplayer vs the game patience game, cleverly created giving players agency and a ramping up of difficulty. It provides some great game moments as you figure out how to get it done. The tension builds as a player runs out of cards and needs to pick up a new deck. Stunning production to.

Safe to say we’re loving DEWAN!
With my sister joining Emma and myself for some gaming, I fancied a bit of Vienna as it’s 3-5P.
Great dice action selection system but starting at the top could cause you problems when later actions show up and you’ve planned poorly.
Super fun!
Not a fan of simultaneous play generally and a couple of times errors in play were spotted when playing this but it is a very good game!
