I’m interested to know how well DLD is covered in other EP doctorate courses. Could potentially offer similar elsewhere - as seems v important to reach trainee EPs.

Video cases for analysis & reflection is ++ valuable. Also planning a slot with adult with DLD🤞

Seemed very keen to learn. Engaging group of EP trainees with lots of qus - some challenging! Plus their own experiences to bring. Always a learning session for me too. Delivered it for about 25yrs now between UCL/ IoE!

What do Educational Psychologists need to know about DLD? Do trainees gain sufficient teaching? Are current EPs able to spot poss DLD?

Have some experience of whole class - in specialist DLD provision many yrs back. More recently exp supporting phonics (p-g links and phoneme awareness) with individuals or via TA, and also now skilling up staff in a different specialist provision. Happy to share ideas.
