Alright 2nd episode of The Dinosaurs watched. Still very fun and having a great time. They're showing really cool behaviors and speculative features, love the emphasis on dinosaur evolution including feathers. There's some nitpicks I have, but they're easy to overlook.

Thinking on it, it was Todds statement here that may have started me thinking that with the reapers. In reapers case removes cosmic horror. In the Dwemer depending on the theories, could ruin the hubris aspect

It was a mistake ever explaining the Reapers origins & motive. It would have caused a large sense of cosmic horror knowing, yes we won but only after standing on the shoulders of 800- 20k cycles before

Hell even bought the guide for it & a few games magazines.
And there are certain parts I view as amazing writing, Mordin's death.

Despite my missgivings of several things with the game. (Hell I question why I give a fuck still about the ending) 3 does hold a special place in my heart due to it being the 1st game I was ever part of the online hype cycle. I hung around on the wikia, I took in every news aspect of it.

Man that would have been an experience. For it's flaws, ye can't deny it was an emotional rollercoster. On one hand Kai Lang, on other Mordin & Thanes deaths.

Because all advertising & hype up was for the ending, the head of the studio saying there would not be defined by a final choice. People still go on about it because these days that factor is rarely acknowledge & folk act like it was because no happy ending.

I wasn't going to review Jurassic Park (1993), just see it in cinemas with some friends. But then there was a kid in front of me experiencing it for the first time, and I realized I would give just about anything to hear John Williams's score again for the first time in context.

The constant horrible weather of this year has at least been put on hold today. The 1st of this year I've gotten out on my Scooter. It certainly improved my mood slightly

I wrote a book about what "pro-American content" looked like in the mid-century when we had these conversations during HUAC/McCarthyism.

It's subtext that you can (and should!) train yourself to read, and I fought for the book to be Open Access (free!) because it's that important.
