I think the most appealing thing to me about all those "brainwashed forever" fantasies is the idea of being taken care of. To not have to worry about anything other than obeying because as long as I perform my tasks well I'll always be rewarded. To not have to think about screwing up my responsibilities or finances or relationships. Just a mindlessly blissful happy little maid cooking, cleaning, looking cute and letting my owner take care of everything else.

Its been years since I played EP2e. I have wonderful memories of it, still cite its pool system as one of my favorite mechanics, and still play with characters I first made for that campaign. I played a psychic space witch, and a traumatized dragon nerd w/ plasma cannon.
