Thank you!
I think the doctors & nurses miss my quick wit & droll platitudes. I'm going back in for surgery. Hells bells.
Simply lovely. Reminds me of the cover of Elton John's 'Blue Moves' without the people.

It's 74 degrees right now here in San Diego π
I had a slightly different experience in the hospital. π
Now I'm thoroughly depressed. I've done three-quarters of the things listed on this touching video. Well, maybe not the perfect last words. Mine will be something absurd no doubt like, "I think I left the stove on."
One of my favorites!
Obviously woke giant ants knew about pronouns decades before the rest of the giant nuclear insects did.

Hilled on four sides, my frozen home, cradled between them wakes me each morning. A cup of coffee. Cocooned in fleece. I peer outside through the bay window. A dog walks with a man who's trundled up in layers upon layers upon layers. A storm approaches from the west. These are my sounds of winter.
You're one of the angels.
I lived that life for four months. The night nurses were so quiet. They wanted you to sleep. But they had to take your vitals every few hours. They'd apologize. They'd say "I'm so sorry, but I'll have to wake you up again in 3 hours." Although day nurses were nice, the night nurses were angles.
Coyote Flat isn't far from there. Hard to get to.
Is this where the trail crosses the creek below Mildred Lake? One year I went up and it was uncrossable. Beautiful geology.
I don't know many of Frank Zappa's songs but this was a mainstream hit back in the day. Fun.
Years ago I came across a website of old photographs. They had a contest each month for the best caption. I tried my hand at this one and won. For the prize they framed the photo and put my caption in. My head was the size of two balloons afterwards. Here it is.
"My wish is to stay always like this, living quietly in a corner of nature."
-Claude Monet
This is a quiet corner for me.
I am standing in the bed of a river where I can walk while the water level is low. I spend a great deal of time here
A wish you a day of peace

What I read.
Laurie Anderson is a muse for many of us who have always been off kilter. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eTS...
San Diego needs this loop dearly!
Back in the '70's North Lake Road turned drivers' hair white. It wasn't for the meek.
Love the boots!
